“The Arts have the power to enhance society with extraordinary grace and incalculable value.”  - Todd R. Wanek

Ashley for the Arts provides the entire family with world class entertainment, art, exercise and play; and promotes the works of artists from across the globe. It is a non-profit organization that is completely dependent on monetary donations, in-kind services and the efforts of its volunteers. Each Ashley for the Arts event serves as a foundation for additional non-profit organizations, including participating schools, to raise funds in support of humanity. The event was conceptualized and established by Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. (Ashley) in 2009. “Like” Ashley for the Arts on Facebook or follow us on Twitter at #AshleyfortheArts.

 Our Flagship Event

The beautiful 54-acre Memorial Park in Arcadia, Wisconsin serves as the backdrop for the initiative’s flagship event. The park features Soldier’s Walk, widely recognized as one of the country’s premier war memorials. Two miles of walkways link different areas of the park, subtly directing pedestrian traffic by art exhibits, two music entertainment stages, a car show, a hot air balloon launch site, an air park, an aquatic center, an interactive art station, kids jungle gym and playground, food and beverage booths, (including wine from local wineries), and much more.

Featured pieces of local art and history decorate the walkways, showcasing some of the region’s most talented and heroic contributors. The fabulous Millennium Amphitheater features world class entertainment on the park’s preeminent stage and can accommodate 4,000 spectators. Saturday’s schedule includes an unforgettable fireworks show.

Running and bicycling enthusiasts and casual participants, alike, are encouraged to partake in the Pursuit of the Arts Bike Races and the American Cancer Society’s Pursuit of a Cure 5K Run/Walk event. The hearts and minds of tomorrow’s leaders are sure to be captivated and inspired by interactive, kid-friendly activities, playgrounds, and a youth obstacle course event.
